Decrepit Birth Signed to Nuclear Blast

Nuclear Blast Records has announced the signing of technical brutal death metallers DECREPIT BIRTH from Santa Cruz, California. The band, founded in 2001, has so far released two highly acclaimed albums, …And Time Begins and Diminishing Between Worlds in 2003 and 2008. Here’s a statement from the band:

“Nuclear Blast Records has a special tradition for signing some of the best metal acts of all time including DEATH, DIMMU BORGIR, TESTAMENT and EXODUS just to name a few. We feel very lucky and honoured to be a part of the family! Our intention is to take the music to the next level and continue to release quality Progressive Death Metal. We are confident to have Nuclear Blast Records in our corner! We also want to thank Unique Leader Records very much for the years of dedication to DECREPIT BIRTH. After we complete more touring in support of the current release, we will begin pre-production for the next album.”



I'm already hearing ppl saying how much Db will wimp out with the next album and blablabla....I think it's good for them: they fucking deserve it!

Those guys totally deserve the big break.Crazy album man Diminishing Between Worlds. So you'll gonna see a lot of DB at Wacken Open Air then..Haha

Hahhaha yeah... But lots of ppl are saying that their next album after diminishing will suck cause nuclear blast bands are known for that... Example look @ Nile...

I'm a die hard "... And Time Begins" fan and I wasn't happy with the direction they took with "Diminishing Between Worlds", but I'm not saying that I do not like the music they made on that one. It was an excellent record, but it's ot something I would want to hear from a band who released a masterpiece of sheer brutality in "... And Time Begins."

yeah i gotta agree with you bro... ... And Times Begin is a fucking brutality masterpiece... But diminishing is also a masterpiece but i just hope DB dont do anything stoopid with the next record... Also blame Unique Leader they suck balls man fucking lazy bastards...
